Gameweek 23 Differential Pick  🎲  

Fabian Schar (£5.2m) is owned by just 6.7% of FPL managers.

The Newcastle defender scored twice away to Aston Villa last gameweek, producing a 17-point haul in the process.

Schar has offered substantial attacking threat throughout his career, and there is even talk of him taking penalties for Eddie Howe’s side in the absence of both Alexander Isak (£7.6m) and Callum Wilson (£7.8m).

Regardless of that dream, Schar’s threat from corners and free-kicks - both direct and indirect - is significant, and he is facing a Luton side who are statistically the worst in the league at defending set-pieces.

The fixture against Luton is followed by games against Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth, so it could be a great time to jump on the Swiss centre-back.
